Kegel Ball

Kegel balls, also known as Ben Wa balls or pelvic floor exercise balls, are small, weighted balls that are designed to be inserted into the vagina to help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles are responsible for supporting the bladder, uterus, and bowel, and maintaining continence.

The Kegel ball function is to provide resistance to the pelvic floor muscles as they contract around the ball, thus improving muscle tone and increasing their strength. Using Kegel balls regularly can help prevent or treat urinary incontinence, improve sexual function, and reduce the risk of pelvic organ prolapse.

Kegel balls come in various sizes, weights, and materials, and they can be used by women of all ages and fitness levels. They are typically made of body-safe materials such as silicone, ABS plastic, or metal and are easy to clean and maintain.

To use Kegel balls, the user inserts the ball(s) into the vagina and contracts the pelvic floor muscles around them for a certain amount of time. Over time, as the muscles become stronger, the user can increase the weight of the ball or the duration of the exercises. It is important to use Kegel balls correctly to avoid injury or discomfort, so it is advisable to seek guidance from a healthcare provider or pelvic floor therapist before starting a Kegel ball exercise routine.
